What’s new
Feature News
New stuff on Dadventures, for dads and for the breweries. Newest first.
Everyone
The Wollopit Brewing Co. is open (sort of)
Our own brewery, moored 2 km off Mooloolaba because the council wouldn’t give us a car park. BYO boat. Everything on tap is a reason we built Dadventures, and the big purple Pour us an idea button on its card is our suggestion box: tell us what to build next, or a spot we’ve missed. While you’re out there, try the Seagull Petting Zoo, the Nappy Change Buoy and the Witching Hour Whirlpool.
Found a spot that’s closed down? Tap Shut for good? Let us know at the bottom of its card on the map. Once a few people say the same, it comes off the map by itself.
The Tap Manager is now the Brewery Manager. As well as your taps, there’s a new Your brewery tab: opening hours for every day, your own description, whether dogs and kids are welcome, a playground or play area, food, beer garden, live music, what’s on, wheelchair access, parking and a bookings link. We’ve already filled in what we know about you, so you just check it over. Save it and it’s on your map card straight away, and Dog mode and the filters follow your answers. No more emailing us.
Got a playground or play area inside or on the premises? That makes you an All-in-one: a brewery or pub where dads get a beer and the kids are sorted in one stop. Tick it in the Brewery Manager and you go straight into the All-in-ones filter.
Snap a photo of your tap board, or upload your beer list or menu (photo or PDF), and we fill in every beer for you. Or pop in your web address and we go through your site and PDF menus for what you’re pouring. You tick the ones to add.
Over 250 beer styles to pick from, and any new style a brewery types joins the list for everyone. Pick any colour for your beer mat, or upload your can art and drag and zoom it to fit the circle.
The Rainy day filter now finds every indoor option, not just libraries and museums: breweries, pubs, play centres, cafes, bowling, aquariums, escape rooms and more.
Meet the new logo: Jamie pushing a pint in the pram with G-POD on his back. Hover over it at the top of the page and see what happens.
Breweries
Breweries can show what’s on tap
Claim your brewery for free and run your own tap list on the map: artwork or a beer mat, coming soon, scheduling and drag to reorder. Dads see a “See what’s on tap” button on your pin.
Switch on Comrade Mode and get matched with other dads heading to the same brewery for a pint. First names only, and anyone who misbehaves gets blocked.
